Terms of Service

1. Who we are & what we do

Duality Auto Detailing is an independent, owner-operated mobile auto detailing business serving the Dallas–Fort Worth (DFW) metroplex, including Murphy, Plano, Wylie, Sachse, Allen, Frisco, McKinney, Richardson, Garland, and surrounding suburbs. We come to your location and perform interior and exterior cleaning, clay bar treatment, ceramic spray sealant, and related add-on services.

2. Bookings & quotes

• All prices and time estimates are approximate until we confirm in writing (text or email). Vehicle condition, size, and requested add-ons can change the final price.
• A booking is not confirmed until we send you a written confirmation with an arrival window.
• We reserve the right to refuse or reschedule any booking, including for weather, safety, or logistical reasons.

3. Cancellations & no-shows

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. If we arrive at the scheduled address and cannot access the vehicle, or no one is available, we may charge a trip/no-show fee equal to the minimum service price.

4. What we need from you (client responsibilities)

• Safe, legal parking space large enough to work around the vehicle.
• Access to an outdoor water spigot and a standard 120V power outlet at the service location. We bring hoses, extension cords, tools, and products.
• Removal of valuables, child seats you want kept, weapons, illegal items, or biohazards from the vehicle before we begin.
• Accurate information about the vehicle's condition (heavy pet hair, mold, vomit, biohazards, aftermarket wraps or paint protection film, etc.) before we start. Undisclosed conditions may change the price on the spot or cause us to decline the job.

5. Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at booking. Late or unpaid balances may accrue reasonable collection costs.

6. Results, limitations & warranty disclaimer

We work hard to deliver a great result on every vehicle, but auto detailing is not a repair or restoration service. We cannot guarantee the removal of stains, odors, oxidation, scratches, swirl marks, water spots, rust, paint defects, or any pre-existing damage. Certain interior materials (worn leather, sun-damaged plastics, aftermarket dyes, etc.) may not respond fully to cleaning.

Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

7. Liability & damage claims

We treat every vehicle with care. If you believe we caused damage during a service, you must notify us in writing (text or email) within 24 hours of the appointment and give us the opportunity to inspect the vehicle before any third-party repair. We are not responsible for:

• Pre-existing damage, wear, or defects.
• Damage caused by loose, aftermarket, adhesive, dyed, wrapped, faded, cracked, or improperly installed components.
• Items left in the vehicle, including cash, electronics, jewelry, tools, firearms, or documents.
• Damage caused by the client's utilities (for example, faulty spigot, low water pressure, or unstable power).

To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services or the Site is limited to the amount you actually paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of use, even if we were advised of the possibility.

8. Use of the Site

You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to access it in an unauthorized way, submitting false or misleading information, sending spam through our forms, or interfering with its normal operation.

9. Intellectual property

All content on the Site — including the “Duality Auto Detailing” name and logo, photographs, videos, copy, and layout — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, republish, or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission. Photos of completed vehicles may be used in our marketing; let us know at booking if you'd prefer we don't publish photos of your vehicle.

10. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party sites (for example Instagram, Linktree, Google Maps). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of those sites.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Duality Auto Detailing and its owner, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Collin County or Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the Site or the Services after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
